It is a common notion that some people are born with certain talents and others are not.It is also true that any children be taught to become a good sports person or musician with the right motivation and training.
It is said that all of us are gifted in some way and it is our duty to find and exploit it.The credibility of this statement is questionable as not everyone can tap into their potential that easily.
It can happen that a child is talented in football but the economic setup where he/she grows up may not favour it and therefore it becomes a waste of talent unless he/she identifies it and puts in commendable effort and energy to be seen and get supported by a community which supports such talent.
On the other hand, a child who is taught and trained for a specific sport or discipline may take time to prove himself/herself due to lack of talent but the end result will be that he/she becomes a competent player in that field. This kind of investment on a person does not go in vain as he/she can at least do tertiary activities to promote that field. For instances person trained to play piano may not be a master at it, but can better understand types of music instruments and the music they play.He/she could start music classes or sell the instruments for a living.
In essence, training a person for a specific field even though he/she might prove to be ill-talented for it is not a waste at all. This gives the person a platform to earn a livelihood which in turn has a good effect on the respective field.
