“Only the truth of who you are, if realized, will set you free.” ~ Eckhart Tolle

Who am I? What is that that sets me apart from my environment? Why am I even existing ,what is my purpose.
These are questions that we ask ourselves at some point in our lives and nonetheless the answers do vary. But why does it have to be so difficult to even comprehend these questions.
Who am I and brain science.
According to the neuroscientists Uta Frith and Sophie Scott your level of awareness is controlled by the brain, meaning that the brain does a lot of functions that you may not be aware of,but gives you the feeling of you, having total control.
Adding to that is the existence of multiple minds, which lights up according to external stimuli which in effect is attracted by your conscious mind.In other words what you are is the harmony between your conscious and the unconscious mind. What you feed your mind with decides what you think and crave for in your life.
This is grey area for scientists as portions of the brain can be studied in detail only when it is damaged or impaired.yes, this is the sad part of neurology. This fact also tells upon the fact that you are in control of an organ so complex that it tells you.

In a sense the brain actually tells you who you are.So the the next time someone asks about you, remember you are much more than just a name.
